Reports for plumbing shop owners, built from the software you already use
Your field software and phone system already hold the numbers. We build read-only weekly, monthly and quarterly reports from them, sent by email. Reports are a quoted job; start with the free checklist.
What can a plumbing report tell me?
Which calls became paid jobs, which lead sources pay, and how many calls you missed and when.
- Calls in vs jobs booked. How many calls came in, and how many ended up as a job.
- Revenue by marketing source. Which lead source brings paid work, not just ringing phones.
- Jobs by tech. Who ran what, so you can see load and gaps before one person burns out and another sits idle.
- Open quotes going stale. Quotes sent and never answered, listed with their age, so the office knows who to call back today.
- Missed calls by hour. Where the phone goes unanswered. This is the same count as the missed-call checklist we recommend before any text-back tool.
Where does the report get its data?
From your phone system's call log and your field software, read-only. Nothing new to buy and nothing for your techs to enter twice.
- Your field software. Through its API where it has one, or through scheduled exports. For example Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan.
- Your phone system's call log. The record of who called, when, and whether anyone answered.
Access is read-only. We never edit jobs, customers or invoices. If your software has no API and no export, tell us what you do have and we will say honestly whether a report is possible. If the honest answer is no, you will hear that before you spend anything.
How often do I get a report?
Weekly, monthly and quarterly, each short enough to read on your phone between jobs.
- Weekly
- What happened to the phone and the schedule last week. Calls in, calls missed, jobs booked, quotes waiting.
- Monthly
- Which lead sources paid off. Revenue next to calls, by source and by tech.
- Quarterly
- The trend. Are missed calls shrinking, is booked work per call going up, which marketing to keep.
| Lead source | Calls | Jobs booked |
|---|---|---|
| Google search | 52 | 36 |
| Truck lettering | 21 | 15 |
| Repeat customers | 30 | 28 |
| Home-service directory | 55 | 20 |
Owners tend to find the same thing first: one lead source that rings the phone a lot and rarely turns into paid work, and one that rings less and pays better. You cannot see that from the phone log alone, or from the job list alone. You see it when the two are put side by side, which is the whole point of the report. If you also use an answering service, compare it with counting your calls first.

Who owns the data?
You do.
Your customer list, your job history and your call log stay yours, in the systems where they already live.
If you ever switch field software, the reports can be rebuilt on the new one. The history in your old system stays with you, and you decide whether it comes along.
We keep only what a report needs, for as long as the report needs it. When you stop, we stop, and we delete what we hold.
- Access is read-only HTTPS access, nothing is written back.
- You stay responsible for your customer data, as you were before.
- You can revoke our access any time, in your own software, without asking us.
Questions about the reports
Do I have to change my software?
No. We read from what you already use. No new app for your team to learn, and the report arrives by email.
Can you change my jobs or customers?
No. Access is read-only. We never edit, create or delete anything in your systems, and you can revoke access at any time.
Who gets the report?
The people you name, by email. Most owners start with themselves and the office manager.
